The Finance Committee has one position as a full member available.This appointment will fill the unexpired term of a member who resigned. The person appointed to this position shall serve until the 2016 Annual Town Meeting, at which point an appointment for a three year term shall be made by the body of Town Meeting.
The Finance Committee holds hearings on the proposed Town and School budgets and makes recommendations on the Town and School budgets and all articles for Town meeting and reviews all transfers of money from the reserve fund. The Finance Committee typically meets the first Tuesday of each month with additional meetings schedule around Town Meetings and the budget season (during budget season the Committee typically meets 6-8 times during March).
