[ARCHIVED] Ipswich Temporary Food Event Training

The Ipswich Public Health Department is offering a Temporary Food Event training on April 10, 2017, from 6pm-8pm at Ipswich Town Hall, Meeting Room C, 25 Green Street, Ipswich, MA.

Temporary Food Events are enjoyable community events for all. The Ipswich Public Health Department wants to help organizations planning these events understand Massachusetts food regulations, the permit application process and safe food handling. This training is designed for event coordinators, event volunteers and food establishment operators that may participate in temporary food events.

Temporary food events present special challenges since they may operate either indoors or outdoors and often have limited physical and sanitary facilities available. Join use and learn about your role in having a safe and successful temporary food event.

Call the Public Health Department at 978-356-6606 or email jbrown@ipswich-ma.gov to pre-register and reserve your space today.
