[ARCHIVED] Ipswich Installs Medication Disposal Kiosk at Town Hall

Police Chief Paul A. Nikas and Public Health Director Colleen Fermon are pleased to announce that a safe and secure medication drop off box has been installed in the Ipswich Town Hall. The kiosk is located at the town hall, 25 Green St., in front of the Council on Aging Cafeteria on the lower level of the building.

Donated by the Rite Aid Foundation’s KidCents Safe Medication Disposal Program, the box provides 24-hour, no questions asked access for local residents to dispose of drugs, unneeded prescriptions and unused medication samples. Residents should note that no liquids, needles, sharps, or inhalers will be accepted.

The Ipswich Police Department also has a 24-hour kiosk available in the police station lobby.
