The Town of Ipswich has renovated several spaces in the Town Hall to improve public use and access.
The Town Hall gym floor was replaced this summer and sound-attenuation installed to make the gym more usable during the day. The work, which took approximately 8 weeks, is largely completed and the gym is now open and available for public use. The gym is used regularly weekday afternoons and evenings, Monday through Thursday, as well as for special events on weekends, including dances and cultural events.
Additionally, the Town renovated spaces formerly occupied by ICAM to create three additional meeting rooms for use by staff and the public.
